It records the transfer and use of internationally transferred mitigation outcomes (ITMOs), ensuring transparency and accountability in cooperative efforts to reduce global emissions.

Article 6 Authorizations
Madagascar’s two-track process enables the authorization of entities, cooperative approaches, and mitigation outcomes – generating ITMOs for global markets, and carbon finance for Madagascar. The Letters of Authorization of Mitigation Activity (LAMAs) for cooperative approaches, and Letters of Authorization of Mitigation Outcome (LAMOs) for ITMOs, are listed below.
